Problem
Every publisher runs Halloween promotions. We needed a reason for people to pay attention that wasn't just 'books, but scary.'
Insight
When everything is trying to scare you, warmth and humor are the disruptive move.
Solution
We created our own Halloween celebrity from scratch — one with infinite availability, zero talent fees, and an obvious love of books: The Grim Reaper.
